Chevron Collaborates with Government Agencies to Strengthen Preparedness Through Comprehensive Emergency Exercise - มิติหุ้น | ชี้ชัดทุกการลงทุน

Mitihoon – Chevron Thailand Exploration and Production, Ltd., in collaboration with the Department of Mineral Fuels, Ministry of Energy; Thai Maritime Enforcement Command Center; Royal Thai Navy; Marine Department; Pollution Control Department; and the Oil Industry Environmental Safety Group Association (IESG), held its 2026 annual comprehensive emergency exercise at the company’s headquarters. The exercise brought together more than 150 participants, including government representatives, to review operational readiness and support coordination among relevant organizations.

The exercise used simulated scenarios to practice the implementation of the marine oil spill response plan. It covered key stages of emergency response, including incident notification, situation assessment, assignment of responsibilities, resource coordination, and interagency communication. Participants also reviewed roles, decision-making processes, and coordination arrangements between the public and private sectors. The exchange of observations and recommendations will help inform further improvements to emergency management protocols and joint preparedness for potential incidents.

Chevron prioritizes safety and environmental stewardship and works with stakeholders to support community well-being and Thailand’s energy security. The company regularly reviews and strengthens its emergency preparedness through plan reviews, exercises, and coordination with relevant organizations. Lessons learned and participant feedback from these activities are used to improve response plans, operating practices, and readiness for potential incidents.
