PTTEP announces first-half performance of 2026 and interim dividend payment at THB 4.50 per share - มิติหุ้น | ชี้ชัดทุกการลงทุน

Mitihoon – PTTEP announced its operational progress for the first half of 2026, maintaining natural gas production at full capacity to help mitigating energy crisis arising from the ongoing Middle East conflict and to safeguard the country’s energy security. During the period, the company contributed over THB 27,700 million to the government to support national development and deliver continuous shareholder return, with an approved interim dividend of THB 4.50 per share.
Mr. Montri Rawanchaikul, Chief Executive Officer of PTT Exploration and Production Public Company Limited (PTTEP), stated that amid the continuing unrest in the Middle East, PTTEP has maintained its focus on managing domestic energy resources. The company sustains natural gas production from domestic fields at its full capacity of approximately 2,680 million standard cubic feet per day (MMSCFD), surpassing the Daily Contractual Quantity (DCQ) of around 2,500 MMSCFD. This helps alleviate the energy impact on household and industrial sectors while strengthening national energy security.
On the sustainability front, PTTEP pioneered Thailand’s first “Total Wellhead Platform Reuse” at the Jakrawan K wellhead platform (JKWK) in the Funan field of the G1/61 Project. By relocating and reinstalling the topside, jacket, and selected pile sections within the same field, the project demonstrates PTTEP’s commitment to circular economy principles. Enabled by engineering excellence and advanced technologies, the initiative maximizes resource utilization, accelerates project execution, reduces costs, and contributes to lower greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions.
In addition, PTTEP signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) with the Department of Fisheries (DOF) and the Department of Mineral Fuels (DMF) to repurpose retired wellhead platform jackets into artificial reefs in the Gulf of Thailand. This initiative represents the effective reuse of structures from petroleum operations—which remain robust and environmentally safe—to create added value and maximize benefits for the seas and coastal communities. Under the supervision of the DMF, PTTEP will undertake the placement and handover of nine repurposed jackets to the DOF to restore and enhance marine habitats, contributing to greater marine resource abundance while promoting sustainable fisheries. The installation of these structures is scheduled to commence in the fourth quarter of this year.
For the financial performance in the first half of 2026, PTTEP generated a total revenue of THB 176,756 million (equivalent to USD 5,495 million). The average sales volume reached 563,179 barrels of oil equivalent per day, representing a 14 percent increase compared with the same period last year. This was primarily driven by increased petroleum production from projects in the Gulf of Thailand and projects that PTTEP acquired participating interests during 2025, including the Malaysia–Thailand Joint Development Area (MTJDA) A18, Algeria Touat, and Malaysia SK408 Projects. Meanwhile, the average selling price was USD 49.54 per barrel of oil equivalent, representing a 10 percent increase compared with the same period last year, in line with the increase in global crude oil prices. As a result, the company reported a net income of THB 39,032 million (equivalent to USD 1,209 million) for the first half of the year.
The approval of 2026 interim dividend at THB 4.50 per share
Driven by its business strength and solid financial position, PTTEP continues to deliver consistent returns to shareholders. On 31 July 2026, the Board of Directors approved the interim dividend for the first six-month of 2026 at THB 4.50 per share. The Ex-Dividend (XD) date is set for 14 August 2026, with the payment to be made on 28 August 2026.
Contribution of over THB 27,700 million to national development
During the first half of 2026, PTTEP contributed over THB 27,700 million of income taxes, royalties and other remunerations to the government. This strongly supports national development in various areas such as community, education and research & development (R&D). Furthermore, the government entitlement of profit sharing from the petroleum produced in the G1/61 and G2/61 Projects, under the Production Sharing Contract (PSC), also directly contributes to the government’s revenues for the country’s development.
