Quality controls, correction process and the boundary between primary data and editorial commentary.
Sourcing rules
Every quantitative claim on a title page (year, runtime, IMDb rating, vote count, character name, director, genre) is read from the staged IMDb dataset at render time. No ad-hoc numbers are written into prose without a corresponding catalogue field.
Narrative claims
Threshold-based qualitative labels (“highly regarded”, “career-defining”) are derived from the rating itself using documented bands. We do not insert subjective adjectives that aren’t grounded in a numeric threshold.
Correction process
If you spot a factual error — wrong character name, missing role, mistranscribed Japanese title — email the editorial team with the IMDb tconst (the tt-prefixed identifier from the page’s schema markup) and the proposed change. Verified corrections are applied within seven calendar days.
Conflict of interest
The archive is independent of any production company, talent agency or distributor associated with Satomi Kobayashi or her filmography. We accept no sponsored placements.
